Paula Morris

Paula is the director of the Resilience Initiative. Paula is a founder of Bandwidth Consulting, through which she and Cory Pohley provide direct, hands-on-support to build organizations’ internal capacity, strengthen their leadership, help launch new areas of work, and sometimes simply give nonprofit leaders some breathing room by taking important and urgent projects off their plate. Paula has worked to strengthen social change organizations for over thirty years, most recently as the Program Director for the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund’s Flexible Leadership Awards Program. 


Michelle Mengel

Michelle is the manager of the Resilience Initiative. Michelle is an independent consultant to nonprofits and foundations specializing in financial analysis, operations, program management, and evaluation. Previously, she worked for 10 years as a community development practitioner for the Washington, DC Local Initiatives Support Corporation (DC LISC). During her time at LISC, she provided strategic grants, loans, and resource brokering to community based organizations in Washington, DC.

Jane Levikow, Vice President Sponsored Projects
Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA)

Jane leads RPA's Sponsored Projects Team, which offers administrative and programmatic platforms to help donors develop, launch and promote high-impact philanthropic projects around the world. She has more than 25 years of nonprofit management experience and is an expert in Fiscal Sponsorship. Jane served as the first Chair of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors.


Meenakshi Abbi, Senior Manager Sponsored Projects
Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors

Meenakshi manages projects focused on a range of issues including education, capacity building, and arts and culture. Most recently, Meenakshi worked at Tides for over four years as a program manager for fiscally sponsored 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) projects, and helped re-launch Tides Advocacy Fund.  She was also Director of the Small Business Development Center Technology Advisory Program, a nonprofit dedicated to helping small businesses effectively utilize technology.


Holly Delany Cole, Director Flexible Leadership Awards
Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Fund

Holly directs the Flexible Leadership Awards (FLA), which helps the Fund’s grantees strengthen their leadership so they can get better results for their organizations and movements. The FLA program is an expression of the Fund’s profound respect and support for the nonprofit leaders who are doing the hard work that is vital to advancing rights and opportunities for all people. It is part of the Haas Leadership Initiatives, a fiscally-sponsored project of the Tides Center.


Linda Baker, Director, Organization Effectiveness in Philanthropy
David and Lucile Packard Foundation

Linda leads the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team as they invest in grantees to build their core strengths and maximize their impact. Through these investments, the OE team aims to build healthier, better connected organizations and networks ready to bring about greater change in the areas the Foundation cares most about. The OE team works in collaboration with the four program grantmaking areas of the Foundation, and also engages with the broader field on capacity building and good philanthropic practice.
